Google UX Design Course

Google is like my partner in my everyday life because it is my go-to platform for almost everything! With just a click away from the search engine, I can find all the needed articles, blog posts, images, and videos! Google also helps me easily communicate with everyone online around the world. I can send and receive emails, plan my schedules using Google Calendar, track my everyday tasks with Google Keep, and edit my docs using Google Docs. I can even create an online survey to share with everyone. How lucky of us all to have something like Google, right? Since I’m in the process of transitioning my career to UX, I searched for free courses online, and I stumbled upon the Coursera platform that provides online education for everyone. On this platform, I saw the Google UX Design Certificate and became curious about how UX works on their end. So I applied for Financial Aid for this certification, and luckily, they granted me! Since Google advised their students (who are taking the courses) that it …

Temporary Working Table

Working/Study table is essential, especially when you’re working with computers or laptops or taking down notes and sketching. It is hard to focus when you don’t have the right table to work and become productive. Recently, I have decided to transition my career to User Experience Research. I spent most of my time with my laptop because I enrolled in some UX-free courses and started playing around using its tools, such as Figma and Adobe XD. Unfortunately, I don’t have a study/working table to set up my learning productivity system, yet I decided to improvise a table that can be useful to my learning journey. I used to have a study/working table before, but my sister borrowed it because she is currently working remotely. I don’t have a plan to get it back because her work is more important than mine. Since I am still studying and practicing UX, getting a new working/study table isn’t necessary. Yet, I set that I will be rewarding myself with a new table once I finish the free courses …

My first WIREFAME!!

I have so many ideas in my mind but the only thing that stops me is confidence. Coming from a different field of career to Technology and Design field is a huge step to take. I am so overwhelmed with every idea and output of what other people in these fields are sharing and posting. I don’t even know if I am on the right track but I am sure that I am motivated and inspired to do tasks related to UX Design. I created my first wireframe using the famous UX design tool, Figma. I am familiarizing myself with how to use it and the different techniques about it. I am excited to finish this case study that I am working on. I already have my user’s persona and other details about the user. I hope I am doing them right. ♥️

My UX Research Journey

Hello, bloggy! Sorry for not updating you these past few weeks. I got infected by the coronavirus the past weeks, and too much rest is needed for me to recover. The 14-day quarantine is draining, but thanks to God, I am finally recovered! However, I am still taking my medicines to feel better and flu-free. Since I am still staying at home recovering from my cough because I am not yet allowed to go out, I research different tech skills that I want to learn and focus on. I came across UX Design. So what is UX design? UX Design is creating a product that provides a meaningful, helpful, and good user experience. This description is the way I understand it.I enjoyed reading articles and watching videos about UX design. Since I am changing my career path, I find UX design my long-lost career to grow and develop my skills and character more. This UX journey is the right path because I enjoy every step and process I encounter while studying UX design. I made a …

2 Best Online Courses Platforms

During the pandemic season, our travel adventures are affected, and as a result, we spend most of our time at home with our loved ones. Spending a lot of time at home is crucial because it’s time-consuming. After all, I felt so unproductive and boring. Since I was planning for my career change, I stumbled on these two platforms that caught my attention. I’m not saying that these two platforms are the best among others, but instead, these two helped me choose the career that I am aiming for. I enrolled in the Writing Your First Novel course by David Wheeler at Coursera and a Blogging for Beginners course by Tyler Speegle at Udemy. These two are free unless you buy their certification. (I’m still planning if I will get a certificate or not) I have a challenging journey with my career, but I will not give up until I become successful.

My thoughts for a Career Change

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well despite this heavy rainy season. I am currently on the edge of planning to change my career. I will do a separate post about it. So now, I’m attending free online courses and still planning on getting the paid online classes for my career. Recently, I started enrolling in Coursera on writing a novel course. I want to learn new things that I know I am competitive and passionate about applying and developing my character. Writing is one of my outlets in this painful world. I’m still focusing on finding the path that is meant for me to be successful and stable. I still envy those people who can do anything in any field without struggling because they are naturally born geniuses. (Sana all) Planning to enroll in the Google IT Support courses, and I applied for Financial Aid. They will email me after 15 days upon application if I am eligible or not. I will still share my career change journey and the dos and don’ts …
