Hello December 2024 ✨

Reaching the 12th month of the year marks the approach of the year’s end. It is a time for gathering with family and loved ones, exchanging gifts, celebrating Christmas, and preparing for the new year ahead. As I walked through the mall, I couldn’t help but notice the wide variety of planners—each with beautiful designs, well-organized pages, and high-quality covers. Are you one of those people who loves picking up a new planner for the upcoming year? I am, too, but I’ve never been able to consistently stick with it all the way through December. That’s why I’m so impressed by those who manage to record their plans and activities regularly, whether in a traditional notebook or a digital planner. Today marks the first day of December, and it’s also my father’s birthday! Birthdays are always special to me because they remind me to thank God for another year of life, for the gift of time, and for the opportunity to celebrate the person being honored. Life is unpredictable, and we can never truly know …

7 Steps on How to Order on FoodPanda Application

During the pandemic season, food deliveries became essential to avoid physical contact with other people. It is also an easy way to eat without spending too much time, especially for busy people who don’t have time to cook or are accustomed to eating outside, such as in restaurants and shops. Good thing, that there are numerous mobile applications that we can use to buy our food without going out. It is the safest way to eat our favorite craving foods from our favorite restaurants and shops. For the past few weeks, I’ve been using the FoodPanda application for my choice of food to satisfy my cravings and hunger. I am glad that it offers a user-friendly interface, so I will share with you the five steps on how to order in FoodPanda. Step 1: Download and Open the FoodPanda Application Step 2: Search the restaurant or shop where you want to order. If you have no idea what are the listed restaurants or shops near you, you can locate your device where you at so …

Tokyo Skytea’s Delicious Shawarma

There are days that we are craving something delicious but not that heavy in our tummy. I’ve been craving shawarma since last week. When I was scrolling through my FoodPanda Mobile Application, I stumbled upon a selling shawarma restaurant named the Tokyo Skytea and clicked it right away. While checking their menu, I saw this “Taco & Shawarma Chicken.” Since I am craving shawarma and I love eating Tacos, I gave it a try. The photos below are the Menus that I have got from the Tokyo Skytea Facebook page. I haven’t tried their smoothie; maybe on my next order, I’ll give it a try. The Taco and shawarma and Fries are both affordable. So if you want to eat delicious food without spending too much penny, then this restaurant is perfect for you. Taco & Shawarma Chicken Fries For my final thoughts, we enjoyed eating these foods. I shared it with my brother because their serving is perfect for two people. My brother also likes the taste of their shawarma meat. They perfectly added …

Paluto by All Day Supermarket

I’m a food lover, but I can only go out and make random food trips during the weekend with my family because we have no work from that day, and it’s more convenient for all of us (family time). So after Sunday mass, we head to a mall named, All Home. It is known as a one-stop shop for home and renovation needs. We headed there since it’s pretty near and accessible to us. We also planned to dine in for our lunch. All Day Supermarket has a lot to offer. The location of Pluto is near the supermarket. Aside from the grocery store, All Day also has a food area known as “Castroville,” where you can sit, relax, and eat your favorite food. It also has a “Paluto” inside (similar to Dampa services). They can offer you their menu and choose the food you like to eat, or they can also cook your preferred dishes, but you have to buy fresh meats or seafood from their supermarket. These three are my favorites, but we …

The Meeting Plate

We celebrated Father’s Day at The Meeting Plate in Imus, Cavite. Originally, we had plans to dine at Kanin Club in Alabang, but due to heavy traffic between General Trias and Imus, we opted to find a place to eat in Imus since it was already noon. The restaurant had a simple ambiance, and it wasn’t particularly eye-catching from the outside. What caught my attention, though, was their “mini-boutique” inside, which offered a variety of items like clothes, makeup, makeup tools, shoes, soaps, and more. This was a nice touch, as I had some time to browse around while waiting for our orders. Now, let’s talk about the food. It was delightful! I found the spicy nachos, chicken wings, and fried chicken to be particularly scrumptious. As for the ribs, they were decent, although I’m not a huge fan of ribs in general. Overall, I’d rate the food a 4 out of 5. I’m eager to recommend this restaurant to my friends and anyone else looking for a good place to eat. On my next …

Brock’s Burger

I had heard quite a few recommendations about the delicious burgers at Brock’s Burger, even from some of my friends. When I found out they had a newly built branch in Trece Martires City, Cavite, I decided to give it a try. The place and the staff at the restaurant were quite pleasant. However, when it came to the burger itself, I couldn’t say there was anything exceptionally special about it. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of their bread, but I did enjoy their patties and fries. Considering the price point, I thought it was a good value overall. I’m open to returning to sample some of their other burger offerings in the future. The cost for the meal typically ranged from P100 to P200, making it quite affordable.

Ice Flower Korean Cafe

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit a charming Korean Cafe in Molito, where I got to savor a delightful dessert known as Bingsu. For those unfamiliar with Bingsu, it’s a delectable treat that starts with a base of finely shaved ice. On top of this refreshing canvas, you’ll find a delightful medley of toppings, which may include an assortment of fresh fruits, delectable choco brownies, a dusting of powdered chocolate, a drizzle of creamy milk, and the unique addition of Azuki beans. Bingsu has gained popularity in Korea for its delightful combination of flavors and textures, making it a delightful and refreshing dessert option.

How to make Creamy Pesto Pasta

This is a recipe for one of my all-time favorite pasta dishes: Creamy Pesto Pasta. I have my sister to thank for this culinary gem, as she graciously taught us how to prepare it, allowing us to recreate it in our own kitchen. My sister has a remarkable palate when it comes to food, and this recipe, in particular, stands as a testament to her culinary prowess. What makes this dish even more appealing is its simplicity and speed of preparation. You have the option to craft your own fresh basil pesto from scratch, or you can conveniently purchase pre-made pesto sauce at your local supermarket. In our case, we opted for the ready-made pesto sauce, making the cooking process even more hassle-free. Here’s an improved version of the procedure for preparing this delightful Creamy Pesto Pasta: Begin by cooking the fettuccine in a pot of boiling water, ensuring you keep a close eye on it to prevent overcooking. In a skillet, heat approximately 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. If desired, add …

Tanza Food Trip: B.A.G.A. Manila

B.A.G.A, which stands for Barbecuers and Grillers Association, is a culinary haven that specializes in serving delectable barbecues, an array of grilled foods, refreshing fruit shakes, mouthwatering burgers, crispy fries, and a selection of high-quality dishes. You can find this delightful gastronomic destination nestled in Tanza Food Trip, and their presence is slated to grace the area until February 28, 2017, in celebration of Tanza Day. One of the standout attributes of B.A.G.A is their unwavering commitment to cleanliness, both in the preparation and serving of their dishes, which speaks volumes about their dedication to providing a satisfying dining experience. In particular, their barbecue is a definite standout, earning my vote as the best barbecue I’ve ever had. While their offerings mostly hit the mark, I must admit that the fries fell slightly short of my expectations. They were a tad on the expensive side, and their flavor profile left something to be desired; a bit too plain for my taste. However, a bright spot on their menu was their fresh fried potatoes (apologies for …
