How to really know someone?

I enjoyed reading Kai’s post about how she answered a series of questions and got inspired to answer as well for you to know who and what I am. The list is over a hundred and I decided to pick out random ones to answer. If you guys want to answer a series of questions and situations too, click here.

5. Any specific personality traits you would like to see in your life partner?

I want to have a positive, understanding, hardworking, and lovable partner. Even though he’s not that good-looking or rich, as long as he has a dream and goals in life that will be okay to me. I just want to have a simple and happy life until the end.

6. Should parents be their child’s friends?

Yes, it is way better for me so that their child won’t grow secretive or sensitive because being friends with our parents is a good thing to feel comfortable and to share their thoughts, especially their feelings and personal problems.

19. How important is music in your life?
I can’t live without music. I am an introvert and music has become my companion for many years now. Everything I do, everywhere I go, music is there to spice up my day, moods, and emotions.

29. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
For me, never trying is the worst because you do nothing, you give nothing and that’s the most shit thing I hate about because you’re just nothing. Failing for me is a motivation you can strive for. Being a failure is not a no-no for me because at least you tried and you gave it a shot. You can’t be successful without failures. Yes, most of the time I learned damn hard during my failures.

42. Would you place education as a top priority?
Yes, as of now I’m still pursuing graduate school for my future. I have goals, I have dreams, and education plays a big part in achieving those goals and dreams. Education is the only thing that I can hold my last breath. Nobody can snatch or take it away from me. I want to be a good mother and a teacher to my future children and to raise them as well-educated and mannered individuals.

46. Complete this sentence “I wish I had someone with whom I could share…”
I wish I had someone with whom I could share my flows, stories, random thoughts, and problems in life. Someone who can be my “Best Friend” he/she also feels the same thing as me.

55. What is your greatest accomplishment so far?

My greatest accomplishment so far is when I presented my thesis/research to an International Congress. I never thought of that and maybe God gave me so many blessings this year.

60. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
I am not saying that I really do believe in those things but I do believe that nothing is impossible.

68. What do you believe makes a successful life?
I’m not answering this because I have a successful life but because my mom taught me how to. She taught us (with my siblings) that in order for us to be successful we must always give our best, be good to everyone, never criticize or discriminate against other people, be generous to everyone, set goals always to 100%, and pray to our almighty father to guide our footstep and journey in life.

87. What would you name the autobiography of your life?

“The Silent Dreamer” I have dreams and I have goals in life. But, I never share it with anybody. I never told what will be my next steps. I never criticize other people’s failures and I dream of my life for my future and for my future self.

I really enjoyed answering these questions and I can guarantee they were honestly answered. 🙂

How about you? I’ll be happy to read yours too. 🙂
