Finally, on May 26, 2017, I proudly donned my cap and gown, signifying my well-deserved graduation! It’s been a journey filled with tears, pain, wounds, discrimination, and criticism, but I emerged stronger than ever. I offer my heartfelt gratitude to the Lord for granting me the strength to persevere and complete what I started. I extend my deepest appreciation to all those who supported me throughout my thesis journey. My family, in particular, served as a constant source of motivation and inspiration.
Cavite State University, you’ve played an integral role in shaping me into the well-rounded and educated woman I am today. As I stand at the threshold of my future, I find myself torn between multiple paths: should I embark on Medical School, Graduate School, or enter the workforce? For now, I’m part of #TeamBahay, enjoying a well-deserved break while I remain unemployed.
To all the students who have felt worthless, weary, and weak at some point in their academic journeys, I have a simple message: it’s okay to rest, but never stop. Reflect on why you chose this path and how your journey began. Remember, your success ultimately rests in your hands.
Give your best effort in every moment of your life. Stay humble and acknowledge your imperfections. Study diligently and speak less. And, above all, make it a daily ritual to pray before and after you rest. 🎓🙏
