I’m a food lover, but I can only go out and make random food trips during the weekend with my family because we have no work from that day, and it’s more convenient for all of us (family time).
So after Sunday mass, we head to a mall named, All Home. It is known as a one-stop shop for home and renovation needs. We headed there since it’s pretty near and accessible to us. We also planned to dine in for our lunch.
All Day Supermarket has a lot to offer. The location of Pluto is near the supermarket. Aside from the grocery store, All Day also has a food area known as “Castroville,” where you can sit, relax, and eat your favorite food.
It also has a “Paluto” inside (similar to Dampa services). They can offer you their menu and choose the food you like to eat, or they can also cook your preferred dishes, but you have to buy fresh meats or seafood from their supermarket.
The Shabu-Shabu
These three are my favorites, but we will try more bestseller dishes that they offer. We already eaten here a couple of times, and my favorite was Onion Rings. Unfortunately, they stopped cooking it and wondered why, but all in all, it was a good place for family/friends to catch up, eat, and enjoy the food and the area.
My brotherMy sisterMy dadMy mom
So for my final ratings about the food and place.
Food – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Services – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Price – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Place – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had fun and enjoyed the place. We did some window shopping in the supermarket after eating and went to their coffee shop (Coffee Project) to have some sweets. It was a good place.
Nowadays, many things have changed, and we have no choice but to accept and live with them. There comes a time when a particular point in our lives falls without prior notice. The unexpected happens, and we don’t know how to stand up and fix ourselves.
I experienced my downfall. After so many challenges happened in my life, I felt that I just wanted to give up on everything, everyone, and even my life. I experienced such things that I can’t even imagine could happen. But life is life. We don’t know what the future holds. We are just the directors of our lives, but we’re not the owners of it.
It is hard to be left alone with people who can’t understand you, but it is more challenging if you distance yourself from the people who care about you. I almost shut everyone out and at this point, you’re going to see who stayed with you at your worst and who just left and stopped talking to you.
As time went by, some thoughts and ideas came into my mind, and I even questioned myself. “Are you okay with it?”, “You have no plans to start again,” “Do you give up so easily?” “Aren’t you bothered about your life status?”
These questions kept on playing in my mind and became why I started to see colors again, and why I began to stand up and get back on track. Why I started to continue and face the reality of life after heavy storms. The motivation and spirit are there.
We are all living creatures in this world. The only thing we can do is live and survive! We have different phases of life. Not everyone will celebrate today. Not everyone will cry today. Not everyone is happy and thriving today. The right time will come. But for now, let’s keep turning the pages of our lives until we reach the chapter that’s meant for us.
Everyone has their struggles, but the challenge is how we can handle, overcome them, and reach the life that God wanted for us.
Blogging is a fun way to spend your time by sharing your thoughts, experiences, and lessons learned in your life. It is also a great hobby to do because you’re learning and growing through the process, and at the same time, you’re enjoying it
Technology is continuously growing, and a lot of people are using different kinds of discoveries and inventions that help them to survive in their everyday lives. With these, blogging has become more accessible than ever before.
Almost everything is at the tip of our fingers now, and I know that all of us have smartphones to use for our everyday living. So I will share my most used mobile applications (iOS) for blogging.
I’m using an iOS device, so these are from the App Store. Some applications are also available in Google Play.
Etsy
WordPress
Canva
Pinterest
Unsplash
Lightroom
Grammarly
Google Chrome
Focos
Spotify
Etsy
Etsy is a global online marketplace that I use for my blogging needs, such as Premium Themes, Lightroom presets, Fonts, and more. I prefer using this because it can be set to my country’s currency and offers a lot of payment options that are available in my country.
WordPress
WordPress mobile application is one of the reasons why I chose the WordPress platform’ over its competitors. WordPress application is a big help for me because I can compose a blog post anytime, anywhere. It is free and easy to use.
Canva
Canva has a drag-and-drop feature and layout designs for blogs, business cards, invitations, posters, logos, and more. I’m using this if I will promote my blog to my other social media. I also used this application for my header logo and icon.
Pinterest
Pinterest is one of the best applications to use if you want to grow your blog and increase traffic.
Unsplash
Unsplash has a lot of beautiful free images/photos that most bloggers are using. Just type what kind of photos/images you want to use for your new blog post or theme.
Lightroom
At first, I bought presets for my pictures and loaded them in here, but now, I am making my own presets. I love adjusting every setting of the photos depending on my liking.
Grammarly
English isn’t my first language, and I am not confident that I can speak and write fluently, so from time to time, Grammarly helps me arrange my sentence structure and correct my grammar.
Google Chrome
I used Google Chrome whenever I’m in need to open my hosting panel for technical reasons or wanted to customize my blog because something happened. I prefer this browsing application because it loads my blog/site correctly and is responsive.
Focos
Focoe is a camera application that helps you capture different moments that gives DLSR-like photography with beautiful bokeh effects usually achievable only with professional large aperture cameras.
Spotify
Spotify is one of the most famous digital music services that gives you access to millions of songs and podcasts. It is one of the great ways to satisfy your mood and feelings. Most of the time, I listen to a musical or instrumental playlist on Spotify because it helps me think clearly and feel every word I’m typing.
So these are my go-to mobile applications for blogging. You can download all of these for free. I assume that these applications are also available on Google Play Store, but if not, I know Google Play Store has a lot of alternatives for it.
I am having a hard time coping with other people recently. I was embarrassed and disappointed by the people whom I truly trusted. Shit, happens, right? But why I’m experiencing these things? Sometimes I want to be alone and shut people out.
I’ve been engaging myself in the online world for the past months. Playing different types of games, chit chatting with other people around the world.
Seriously, I love meeting new people. I’m somewhat excited about exchanging stories and experiences in life because, for me, it is one of the best ways to know the person better. But what if you meet someone who would destroy the inner peace in you? What will you do? In my case, I can’t completely cut ties with them; however, if it’s the right thing to do for myself, then I have no choice.
Most of the time, I choose to help them; I prefer to guide them and adjust to being more comfortable with me, but now I’ve decided to pick myself over anyone.
Self-love is what I need right now. I don’t need a relationship with someone who just needs me for convenience. I don’t need someone who is taking advantage of me and lying to me.
This sadness is one of the reasons why I am blogging. Slowly, cutting my engagement to different social media because it doesn’t help me at all.
Choosing the right blogging platform is a little bit confusing but there are several things that you need to consider before starting.
Why do you want to build a blog/website?
You have to know your whys and what before you will know your where and when.
Example: I want to start my blog because I want to share my shots and photos taken every day. (Your what and whys are here) and for you to know your where and when you have to consider these things:
Needs
Budget
Platform
Knowledge
Needs
What kind of blog/website are you planning? Is it a personal blog? For business? For school projects?
You have to consider first why you need a blog/website. If it is just for fun, project, and want to try things out then a free platform is highly recommended. However, if you want to be a successful blogger or you’re running a business and wanted to earn money in it then invest!
Needs over wants matter. If you need it, buy it. Your future self will thank you for that.
Budget
Are you on a budget or money isn’t an issue?
Well if you’re on a budget, choose the free platform with their subdomain.
But if you don’t want to spend/invest that much then still choose the free platform and buy your domain name just to have your branding.
But if you can and wanted to invest and spend your money on your blog/website because you’re serious about it and wanted to earn money from it, then I suggest buying hosting plans (that can host the platform you desire) and a domain name.
Platforms
WordPress – is the famous and widely used blogging platform in the world. So meaning, if you consider using WordPress and you have series of questions, a problem came up then you can easily ask for assistance or tutorials on the internet. There are a lot of blogs, websites, video tutorials that you can follow and understand to solve your problems.
Also, WordPress has two variants, WordPress.com which is free hosting, and WordPress.org which is used for paid hosting.
Wix – is a free platform that offers a paid plans that are probably best known for its drag-and-drop software. If you wanted a blog/website that you can freely manage because of its features then you might want to consider wix.com
Squarespace – is a paid platform that uses drag-and-drop software (similar to Wix) that makes their platform a user friendly. It is loaded with lots of themes to start with. It offers a 14-day trial before you upgrading to their plans.
However, if you want to have more premium themes options, cheaper plans, and install plugins then drag-and-drop software is not right for you. But if you want to tweak everything on your own without so many limitations, then drag-and-drop software is the best option.
Blogger – is owned by Google and is the most commonly used platform to start a blog. Since it is a free and no paid plans option, you will have a hard time if you wanted to earn and monetize your blog. It has few plugins that might cause a problem in your future needs especially if you’re not a techy person.
There are so many platforms that offer free blog hosting but then again, it depends on your needs, budget, and knowledge on how much can you handle in maintaining a blog/website.
Knowledge
Not all of us can understand everything on the internet. Not all of us are aware of codes, programs, and others scripts that are used to build a blog/website.
I’m not a major in programming or any other computer-course-related. I just know basic codes like HTML and CSS but then, I don’t know how to start a blog from the scratch.
So if you’re a person who doesn’t know that much about these codes and scripts then I suggest a user-friendly platform that can help you and start your blog with a few clicks. Drag-drop software is a good option here. On the other hand, WordPress is a good choice too since it has a lot of plugins to install with just a few clicks away but sometimes, you have to edit or tweak some codes depending on your blog/website needs.
For the summary, it is still your final decision on what and where to start your blog. They are all there, waiting for you. Free or paid, it doesn’t matter as longs as your happy and contented with what you’re doing.
I am not a professional blogger or programmer and these things are based only on my experiences. Good luck! ❤️
Starting a blog is not an easy decision. You have to consider a lot of things on how can you manage and maintain your blog. Also, there are so many different platforms that offer a good start to host a blog.
Blogging is a great way to share experiences, thoughts, ideas, and stories with others and be creative on how you wanted it to look in a place that you own.
In my case, starting a blog is one of the best decisions I ever made. It’s not easy to choose where to host your blog, what domain name you will use, what template or themes to use because it is connected with your topics, or what kind of blog or website you planning to build.
Today, I’m going to teach you how to start your blog so you can start writing and discovering a new hobby that can help you grow, learn new things, and meet new people around the world. So these are the basic things you might consider to start a blog.
Niche
Domain
Hosting
Platform
Design
Niche
Blogging won’t cross your mind if you don’t have something to share or planning to grow. We all start small and grow until we reached our goals without noticing because we’re enjoying it.
Once you think and choose your niche, it is easy as 123 to start a blog. As for me, I started recently with my lifestyle blog. I don’t have plans yet in my mind to enter the bigger world of blogging because I believe I will going to cross that path someday yet if opportunity knocks, I will surely grab it.
What I do now is to focus, maintain, learn, and enjoy blogging. These are just a few things to consider when blogging. You must have that urge to do it, focus on your niche, maintain the habit, and as the process goes by you will not only grow your blog but you will grow as a person too.
Once you learned those things, blogging would be easy for you because you are now committed to what you do.
And that’s what of the main secret I’ve learned from successful bloggers.
We all start small and it’s in our hands how to make it grow bigger
Do you want to be successful in blogging? Then start now and work for it!
Domain
Choosing a good domain is a little bit critical for me. It depends on the availability and the price range of the domain you planning and what kind of blog/website want.
For personal blogs, the blogger’s name is commonly used as a blog/website name. Here are some examples:
Binca King (biancaking.com) – a blog about lifestyle, foods, and travel
Aura Azarcon (auraazarcon.com) – a blog about lifestyle, tutorials, and medical journey
Saab Magalona-Bacarro (spellsaab.com) – a blog about lifestyle, travel, and music
So these are my top three favorite bloggers that inspire me to do more, grow more, and be more. And as you can see, they all use their names on their blog/site.
For businesses blogs/websites, the business name is commonly used. Here are some examples:
Kim Store owned by Kim Lato (kimstore.com) – an online gadget store
Linya-Linya (linyalinya.ph) – an online visual creative designed basic shirt and other products. (I like their shirts with hugot lines too)
RYR Chocolates (ryrchocolates.com) – an online chocolate grocery store
So these are some of my favorite business websites to check for their new promos, discounts, and sales. As you can see their domain/website names depend on their niche and business.
Hosting
I have a self-hosting blog now and I am very happy with my decision. Hosting a blog/website is one of my so-called achievements unlocked! Since I started from free platforms before, getting a self-hosting blog is a growth that I consider. Meaning, I am finally engaging myself in blogging.
The only things to consider choosing a hosting partner for your blog/website are budget and services.
Is it worth the hype? Is it reliable to start your investments? Because starting a blog is a form of investment that your future self will thank you for doing that. So you must decide carefully where would you invest your blog/website. There are so many companies out there that offer cheaper but better services.
I’m currently hosting at Dreamhost and I will make a separate blog post about my thoughts and experiences with this hosting company.
There are different options that hosting companies offer. For personal blogs, small business or a beginner they have the “Shared (Starter) Plans and if you have a bigger business blog/site that contains thousands of visitors/traffic and in need of more powerful services then you can ask your hosting company to offer the best plan for your needs.
Platform
There are a lot of platforms to choose from and this part is the most difficult decision I made on starting a blog. I had a hard time deciding what platform shall I use because I have to consider few things and think about it.
What kind of blog – since it’s a lifestyle blog, I don’t need so many features on building a website
Budget – well if you plan to start a blog that you want to earn money from it, you have to invest in it but if you’re out of budget and a beginner wants to blog as a pastime or hobby then there are free platforms available for you.
Commitment – well blogging is like a “relationship” that you must update and love. If you love what you’re doing, what happens? It grows right?
Why do you want to start blogging? – in my case, I want to have my own space where I will share my experiences and journey in life that I can look up to in the future.
Once you finally think about your reason(s) for starting a blog, then choosing a platform becomes easier.
I want a “lifetime” blog so I decided to choose the “self-hosting” platform that offers the things that can help me and my blog. Currently, I am using WordPress.org hosting by Dreamhost. I will make a separate blog post about these two.
Free platforms are good for beginners, especially for short-term blogs, like academic portfolios or school projects. It is also a good start if you just want to share your thoughts and ideas without minding traffic, growth, and ownership. On free platforms, you don’t own your blog/website. It can be lost anytime, you have no assurance. As long as you’re ok with it and it’s not an issue, then there’s no problem using free platforms.
I also started using free platforms before and for my recommendation, I highly recommend “Blogger” to start a new blog.
Design
The design is all about you, your taste, and your niche. If you plan to put up a blog/site about foods, then the ambiance of your design and theme must compliment your photos and content.
WordPress offers thousands of free and premium themes that you can use to set up your blog/site.
Some free platforms offer free and premium themes/templates as well, such as Blogger. I used premium templates before and it is cheaper yet looks modern and responsive.
In my case, I just want a minimalist blog design. Fewer colors for a pure and clean look. I prefer premium themes over free themes for the responsiveness, updates, and technical support. If ever I broke some codes, at least I can contact the theme creator to help me solve my problem.
I am not a professional blogger and these are based on my experiences. I hope this blog post helped you decide and start a blog. Good luck! ❤️
You reached this post because you’re interested in starting a blog with WordPress. Well, you’re on the right track! WordPress is a famous free platform that almost 42% of the web is using it. If you want to start a blog, academic project, portfolio, or even a small or big business that you want to put online for growth and branding, well, you can’t go wrong with this.
I’m not a long-time WordPress user, so I’m going to share my honest thoughts and experiences using WordPress.
So before you can start a blog on WordPress, you should decide whether you’re going to use the free platform with free hosting or a free medium and paid-to-host.
So for me, I tried both.
WordPress.com
All you have to do here are:
Choose your blog/site Name
Choose your theme
Your subdomain name (yoursitename.wordpress.com)
And then you’re done! You finally created your new blog on WordPress.com, and you can now start a new blog post, edit pages, add plugins, and more depending on your liking.
WordPress.org
All you have to do here are:
Get a domain name (yoursite.com)
Host your blog with your chosen hosting partner (e.g., Dreamhost, Bluehost, etc.)
Install WordPress.org platform (some hosting sites come with pre-installed WP)
Create your WP admin account
Choose your blog/site name
Connect your domain name (usually connected unless you bought it from another hosting/domain site)
Choose a theme
Ready to go
Creating a blog/site is pretty simple, especially since WordPress is user-friendly. If you want to install plugins of your choice, then feel free to do it. It’s fun and easy with just a few clicks, and you will be able to make it.
If you want to start your blog/site, then do it. You don’t have to be a professional in this field. You will learn along in the process. I am not knowledgeable enough to start, but I just did because writing is my passion. I want to improve myself more in the long run.
Avoid reasoning that you’re not ready because if you’re not, then when will you? If you want to achieve something, you have to focus on it, do your best, and believe in yourself that you can.
Starting a blog is not an easy decision. You have to consider a lot of things on how you can manage and maintain your blog. Also, there are so many different platforms that offer an excellent start to host a blog.
Blogging is a great way to share experiences, thoughts, ideas, and stories with others and be creative about how you want it to look in a place that you own.

That’s life.
Feeling makinis lang ako pero na iinis lang aq pag may tumutubo na pimples or kung ano sa balat ko. Syempre nakakatakot baka nahahawa aq ng skin disease or may skin disease ako. Mahal na mahal ko pa naman kutis ko. ~.~
Human heart Nature ang products na ginagamit ko.
Facial wash, toner , scrub and moisturizer. Nainom rin ako ng Vitamin C para healthy pa rin sa kabila ng mabagyong buhay. Ayoko may makakapansin na may pinagdadaanan ako. Lalo ng ng family ko. As much as possible pinapakita kong strong independent woman ako sa harap nila. Ayoko silang makitang malungkot g dahil sa akin at sa failures ko. Basta kaya ko to.
P.S. Kakatapos lang ng swimming namin with family and relatives. Sobrang saya lang mag relax ngayon at kumain ng masasarap na pagkain na nakalagay sa dahon ng saging.
